A graduate of the University of North Texas, Mr. Redden-Liotta has been an active professional musician in the Washington, DC area for the past 10 years. In addition to conducting the Woodbridge Community Choir, he is the Artistic Director of the chamber chorus Second Wind, Assistant Conductor for the University Chorale at George Mason University and served as Music Director and Conductor for the Repertory Opera Theatre of Washington. Mr.Redden-Liotta has performed with many ensembles, including the critically acclaimed University of North Texas Jazz Singers, the Woodley Ensemble, National Symphony Orchestra, and is a member of the Professional Core of the Washington Master Chorale. As soloist he has performed in several capacities, including the world premiere and recording of the Requiem by Paul Leavitt, and the East Coast premiere of Eternal Light: A Requiem by British composer Howard Goodall. Additonally, he maintains both a private voice studio and is a teaching artist at the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop. Mr. Redden-Liotta is pursuing his Masters of Music degree in Choral Conducting at George Mason University where he is a conducting student of Dr. Lisa Billingham, and is an active member of the American Choral Directors Association. |
